Our community enjoys many opportunities to get to know one another and nurture relationships. Every Sunday after worship we share coffee and refreshments, provided by different members of our community. We celebrate birthdays and other special occasions during this time.

In addition to the weekly fellowship time, other opportunities include:

Soup Suppers: On Wednesday evenings throughout the season of Lent we gather in the Fellowship Hall to share a simple meal of homemade soup and bread. Our meal is usually followed by a time of prayer, testimony, bible study, meditation or service, according to our yearly focus. Start time is advertised in worship near the beginning of the season.

Easter Brunch: Every Easter Sunday after worship we continue the celebration of the Resurrection with a community brunch for all worshippers and any community guests, whether or not they were able to join us for service earlier in the morning.

Joint Worship Service Picnic: Towards the middle of the summer we share a potluck meal with alongside our partner churches Iglesia de la Gran Comisión and Firm Foundation Church.

Annual Church Picnic: Toward the end of the summer we take a drive up to Lake Geneva for a day to enjoy God’s creation and each other’s company. We learn a lot about each other and what God is doing in our lives.

Fellowship Groups: Members and friends of CPC regularly gather together to support one another in prayer and spiritual friendship. One group of ladies goes out to lunch together after the Christian Ed hour on Sundays, other groups meet for breakfast during the week, and still other opportunities form as new people connect with one another. Seasonal Events: Variety shows, game nights, sing-a-longs, trivia nights and excursions for Christmas Caroling have all formed part of our fellowship opportunities through the years. Who knows what will be next?
